I designed the concept, layouts and managed the month-long design process of the wall-magazine.

The team made it a reality.

Poster Designs

Our wall magazine 'Memorabilia' represented the Liberation war history of Bangladesh.

The top row consisted of the visuals of people's sufferings. The middle-rowed columns told the history of the liberation war from start to finish through poems and essays. The bottom row compositions portray the uprising of the bengal revolution.

The entire wall-magazine was hand-made, hand-written, hand-drawn.

The magazine was made out of cork-sheets and art papers. The papers were manually sprayed with poster color, nets and brushes. The header was designed with eggshells and jute-sticks.The border patterns were designed with glitters, rice and lentil grains.

I hand-wrote the entire wall magazine

It was my dream then to write the wall magazine on the 10th grade. I trained my handwriting for 3-4 years just to be selected for writing the wall-magazine. And I got chosen! Sitting beside me is my friend Abid- who is cooperating me in the writing process.

It was a dream come true to finally present the wall magazine on the stage as the main desginers in front of the full-auditorium audience.

Talented & aspiring essayists, poets, editors, artists & designers - all in one frame. I felt really lucky to be managing such spirits and bring the best out of them to make this wall magazine release a success.
