Background
Attendo is a Scandinavian private healthcare company headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden. Attendo Finland specializes in care for older people and owns nursing homes across the country while Attendo Sweden provides regular healthcare and care for people with disabilities in addition to care for elderly.
In 2019, the stock price of Attendo AB decreased by half from its peak in 2017. Some causes for this massive decrease in value have been the various scandals and incidents in the nursing homes in Finland, and the overall financial status of the company.
Our Project team believed..
..Design could be a solution for Attendo. By making design as a central part in Attendo, instead of receiving the marginal and isolated improvements from one-off projects at the cost of inefficient use of resources, the organization can benefit from competitive advantages that design-centered companies enjoy, namely sales growth and customer loyalty.
